Groupe SEB in China

1996: Joint venture, Shanghai SEB Electric Appliances Co Ltd, was established.

1999: JV became WOFE, 100% owned by Groupe SEB.

2001: Moving into Xinzhuang Industrial Zone and implementation of ERP system.

2002: Certification ISO 9001 (DNV/CQC).

2006: Strategic partnership agreement with Zhejiang Supor.

Production base for worldwide market

The Groupe SEB production site in China located at Shanghai Xinzhuang Industrial Zone has more than 500 employees.

4 main product lines: steamer, kettle, iron and vacuum cleaner.

Annual capacity: over 2.5 million units.

Nationwide distribution network

In China, 12 product families with over 100 models are commercialised under Tefal and Rowenta brands.

Distribution network covering 32 cities with more than 500 image counters.

Sales force of more than 700 persons.
